What we collect when you apply, what we do with it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

Who is responsible for your data
IQ Brain MH (T) Ltd, trading as IQ Brain Consult, of Nangela Plaza, 1st Floor, New Bagamoyo Road, P.O. Box 29888, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is the data controller for the personal data you submit through this portal.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, telephone number and location.
- Your CV and the information in it, including work history and qualifications.
- Your cover letter, current role, years of experience and the sector you work in.
- Assessment and interview records, where you take part in a selection process.
- Reference and verification information, collected only with your consent.
- Technical information such as the date and time of your submission.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We process your data to match you with roles, to assess your suitability, to present you to a client where you agree, and to contact you about opportunities. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and on our legitimate interest in operating a recruitment service.
Who we share it with
- Our clients: your CV and assessment details are shared with a specific employer only when you have agreed to be put forward for that role.
- Referees: only those you name, and only when you ask us to proceed.
- Service providers: our email and hosting providers, which process data on our instructions.
We never sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing by third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate data for 12 months from your last contact with us, so we can consider you for future roles. After that it is deleted. If you are placed in a role, we keep the records needed for the engagement and for as long as the law requires.
How we protect it
CVs are stored outside the public area of this website and are not accessible from the internet. Access is limited to the IQ Brain Consult staff who work on recruitment. Uploads are restricted by file type and size, and forms are protected against automated abuse.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2022 you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Write to info@iqbrain.co.tz and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission.
Recruitment fraud
IQ Brain Consult never charges candidates a fee for recruitment, registration, testing, training or placement, and we never ask for payment to process an application. If you are asked for money in our name, do not pay, and report it to info@iqbrain.co.tz or call +255 756 240 202.
Cookies
This portal sets one essential cookie to keep your session secure while you complete a form. It carries no advertising or tracking cookies.
